dispersion studies and expert opinions

  • in the process of environmental impact assessment of construction projects in compliance with the Act on Environmental Impact Assessment (E.I.A. process), dispersion studies are required as one of the sources for the assessment of the impact of a project on air quality and public health
  • moreover, the preparation of dispersion studies is required in the stage of the preparation of project documentation as a source material for the issue of a binding opinion on the location of a stationary source and operating permit of a stationary source in accordance with the Act on Air Protection. In this case, a dispersion study is prepared for particular enumerated stationary sources of pollution specified in Annex 2 of the Act on Air Protection, and also for particular road constructions and car parks
  • for the purpose of an air pollution impact computation, we use the methodology Symos’97 approved by the Ministry of Environment
  • for the processing of dispersion studies the authorization by the Ministry of Environment is required – we are the holders of the authorization
  • expert opinion, analogically as a dispersion study, is required for particular enumerated stationary sources of pollution specified in Annex 2 of the Act on Air Protection, as a source material for the issue of a binding opinion and operating permit of a source.
  • for expert opinion preparation, the authorization by the Ministry of Environment is required – we are the holders of the authorization
